
Lee Sang-hyeok is a professional gamer from Korea. He is better known by his gaming name, “Faker.”
Lee first started playing League of Legends (LoL)* in 2011. Two years later, he made his professional debut. Soon after, he won important esports matches. He proved himself as one of the top players.
Throughout his career, he set numerous records. He won 10 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) titles and four World Championship titles.
Additionally, Lee won a gold medal in the 2022 Asian Games* as a member of the Korea national esports team. He was even named to the Forbes* 30 Under 30 list.
Now, he is regarded as the greatest LoL player in history.
Hall of FameOn May 23rd, Lee became the first person to enter the League of Legends Hall of Fame. This is because he is the most influential player in esports.
‘Faker Temple’To celebrate the honor, a “Faker Temple” was made in Seoul during May and June. It had a photo booth and a special quiz zone. Fans also left messages of support for Lee.
