On October 5th, the Seoul International Fireworks Festival will take place in Yeouido. The night sky in the capital will light up with fireworks.

This year marks the 20th edition of the renowned festival. Although it started in 2000, the event was canceled several times due to various issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

To celebrate this special anniversary, this year’s festival is expected to be more magnificent than ever. International fireworks teams from the United States and Japan, along with a Korean team, will put on an exciting show.

The fireworks will start at 7 p.m. Before the show, visitors will enjoy various activities at the riverside park in Yeouido.

Every year, over 1 million people gather at the park and surrounding areas to see the show. The fireworks are also visible from distant spots like N Seoul Tower and Banpo Hangang Park.
