On October 7th, Korea’s Nuri rocket successfully launched. It took off from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, South Jeolla Province.* It was the first time Nuri launched exactly on schedule.

Nuri carried 15 satellites. They included five Earth observation satellites and ten cube satellites. Fourteen of them were released successfully in space.

After releasing the satellites, Nuri performed a final maneuver to move away. It will burn up in the atmosphere within 20 years.
